Lamnalco began operating permanent teams of divers in support of terminal maintenance operations over 25 years ago and has established an unparalleled safety record within the industry - having never suffered a diving incident.

Recognition of these standards of continued excellence are manifest in our position with clients such as BP, for whom we are one of only three preferred diving contractors in the ME region.

Lamnalco is a full and active member of the ‘International Marine Contractors Association’ (IMCA).

Diving Services

Lamnalco currently operates six (6) full time long-term diving contracts, and directly employs 40 full time diving staff. However these numbers can grow with seasonal demands to approximately 65. All members of Lamnalco diving staff, both permanent and temporary are fully qualified and recognised by IMCA.

• Inspection: All our sites are equipped with a range of underwater inspection tools including, bathycorometers, digital thickness meters and full digital video and stills capability.

Regular extensive reports are compiled to suit our clients’ requirements.

• Maintenance: A rigorous maintenance program is followed and continuously improved by all our dive teams. Lamnalco divers are rightly recognised as terminal diving specialists with a vast knowledge of OCIMF, SBM and blue water maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Construction: With a comprehensive range of hydraulic and pneumatic subsea tools at our disposal, and some highly experienced diving staff, Lamnalco divers are capable of meeting the most exacting of construction tasks.

Lamnalco divers are fully trained and experienced in:

• Air Diving operations.
• Surface Supplied Mixed Gas Diving operations.
• Saturation Diving operations.

ROV Services

This is a rapidly expanding new service offered to our clients. We currently operate one ‘Inspection’ class ROV and employ two (2) full-time ROV pilots. This unit is equipped with a multi functional manipulator, CP and UT capable with onboard low light digital video and stills cameras, and imaging sonar.

• Observation: ROV’s are regularly used by Lamnalco for observation tasks, either to observe the divers at work, or to observe an object or event without exposing divers to increased risk.
• Inspection: A full range of inspection services can be conducted, typically pipeline surveys, mooring surveys, chain anchor leg surveys etc. Comprehensive reports are regularly compiled to meet with client and Lamnalco requirements.

We actively follow a program of training to the highest industry standards applicable. Many promotions and advancements are made from within our own ranks to provide continuity and lay the foundations for continuous improvement.

Lamnalco hold Class Approval from the following societies to conduct ”IN WATER SURVEYS”:
