Engineering Services assign a project engineer responsible for the complete project, and ensure adequate owners supervision at the nominated shipyard. Projects are continually progressing across the globe from Cuba to Europe, India and China.

Recent projects have ranged from high performance escort and berthing tugs, production support vessels to large anchor handling tugs, utility and crew boats. Our Engineers are multi-lingual from the UK, Sweden, South Africa, India and China and their local knowledge and contacts in these areas are invaluable. They take the requirements generated from an outline design through detail design to steel erection, machinery outfitting and sea trials, before handing the finished and tested product over to the Lamnalco operations team or third party customer. Since 2003 engineering services have taken responsibility for the delivery of over 40 vessels from ship yards all over the world.

Engineering Services, as part of a wider multi-disciplined team, are responsible for transforming functional tug requirements into fit for purpose design proposals and delivering it to the customer on time and on budget.
